Heinrich, a talented German driver and former Porsche Junior, rose through Porsche one-make series and GT championships before competing internationally in GT3 machinery. Starting eighth on the grid, he fought through a chaotic opening lap and intense traffic on the narrow Guia Circuit, ultimately securing a podium finish behind the Ferrari and BMW entries.
