The 1982 BMW M1 Tour de Corse was a unique car that set itself apart from the competition in the automotive industry. The BMW M1 was the only mid-engined car ever built by BMW and it was specifically designed for competition. The BMW M1 Tour de Corse featured a 3.5-liter, six-cylinder engine that produced 470 horsepower and could reach a top speed of over 180 mph.
