The 1998 Rolls-Royce Silver Seraph marked a major turning point for Rolls-Royce, combining traditional British craftsmanship with modern BMW engineering. It was powered by a silky 5.4-liter BMW V12 producing 322 horsepower, paired with a five-speed ZF automatic transmission—the first Rolls-Royce V12 since the legendary 1939 Phantom III. What set the Silver Seraph apart from competitors such as the Mercedes-Benz S-Class and BMW 7 Series was its exceptional handcrafted interior, rich Connolly leather, polished walnut veneer, adaptive ride control, and unmistakable Rolls-Royce presence.
