What might be the hottest Mercedes of all times was now used for Rudolfs daily business trips and offered a means of seeking adventurous amusement for this exceptionally gifted engineer and excellent driver. He must have had a lot of fun.

The Mercedes-Benz 300 SLR was a racing car developed for the 1955 World Sportscar Championship season, and it achieved notable success in various races.

The Uhlenhaut Coupe, on the other hand, refers to a road-legal version of the Mercedes-Benz 300 SLR race car that was built for Rudolf Uhlenhaut, the head of the Mercedes-Benz racing department.
