This is the BRAKE DISC KEYCHAIN (6-POTS CALIPER) Black by AUTOart.
AUTOart six-pot brake disc keychain features a rotor that actually rotates within the brake caliper, which is sturdy die-cast zinc metal cast to an authentic shape to resemble the massive six-pot calipers fitted to the world’s elite automobiles. A replica of the external brake line is fitted at one end of the caliper, just as they are on the real items.
As with a real brake rotor, the 31mm (1.2-inch) diameter chrome-plated die-cast zinc rotor is a double-disc bridged by ventilation slots along the edge. The rotor surface is fitted with a photo-etched and stainless plate that has been manually brushed to simulate the hairline braking marks left by the pads.
The center hat of a two-piece assembled rotor, which is the most expensive component of the whole product, is machined from billet aluminum by AUTOart and then drilled with twelve little holes around the outer rim to fit with the replicated “bobbins,” which on a real two-piece brake are a specially designed bolt to mount the rotor onto the aluminum hat.
The stainless steel keyring is strapped to our mini brake by stitched vinyl for years of rugged use. The total length, including the keyring, is 90mm (or 3.55 inches). It is carefully packed at AUTOart’s workshop in a gift box with a clear window.
The three colors of caliper available are: red, yellow, and black.
